An Important Pack Update Regarding the Coronavirus

DUKE AND DIXIE - THE DYNAMIC DUO

At Muddy Paws Rescue, the health and safety of our entire community have always been our top priority. As concerns regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continue to mount, we are dedicated to monitoring all updates shared by the Center for Disease Control to inform our decisions moving forward.

We are taking the following steps to continue operations while taking into consideration the health of our entire community:

  1. Our adoption van will remain open at our adoption events and signage will be placed throughout to discourage the public from touching any surfaces and any of the dogs.

  2. Sanitizer will be provided at our adoption events and will be available in the permanent dispensers located on the adoption van.

  3. Optional gloves will be available to volunteers at adoption events.

  4. Sanitizing wipes will be available to wipe down surfaces such as iPad screens between use.

Here’s what you can do to reduce the spread of illness:

  1. Avoid touching surfaces in public places.

  2. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing, or having been in a public place.

  3. Avoid touching your face, nose, eyes, etc.

  4. If you are feeling unwell or have flu-like symptoms, we ask that you do not attend our adoption events and seek professional medical advice.

As an organization, we must also be prepared for the economic uncertainty that is likely to follow COVID-19. Now, more than ever, your financial support will directly impact our ability to save the lives of the countless animals that still need us. Please consider making a donation today.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and will inform our community of any further changes. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please reach out to us at info@muddypawsrescue.org.
