An Update to Our Approach on the Coronavirus
The health and safety of the Muddy Paws community continues to be the top priority for all of us here at Muddy Paws Rescue. In our best effort to do our part to prevent further spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have enacted the following measures:
Public events are suspended until further notice. Our Adoptions Team is hard at work to ensure that we will still be able to carry out adoptions in a manner that will keep our foster parents and adopters as safe as possible.
We will be adjusting our transport schedule on a case-by-case basis as more information becomes available from the Center for Disease Control. While there is no information to indicate that canines can spread COVID-19, our transports require significant in-person gatherings and we want to minimize that risk. Our March 14 transport has been reduced in size but will still be arriving as planned.
Many have asked how they can best support us during this time. While we are incredibly grateful to see our pack enthusiastically offer their support, the best way for you to help us save more lives at this time is by signing up to become a monthly donor or making a one-time gift. Our monthly donors provide a consistent and reliable source of funding to Muddy Paws, most especially under these circumstances.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out at info@muddypawsrescue.org with questions or concerns. We know this is a trying time in so many ways, and we at Muddy Paws Rescue are committed to supporting our community in any way possible.
