Muddy Paws Receives Rachael Ray Save Them All Grant from Best Friends Animal Society
New York, NY – Muddy Paws Rescue NYC is pleased to have received a Rachael Ray Save Them All grant from Best Friends Animal Society for its goal to expand their network of shelter partners to include the Montgomery Humane Society, which will allow them to transfer adoptable dogs to New York City from Alabama.
“This grant allows us to include this expansion in our work of finding forever homes for the homeless pets in our care,” said Anna Lai, Marketing Director. “Our goal will be to adopt out at least 125 dogs from Alabama to loving families. We appreciate the support of Best Friends Animal Society in making this new partnership possible.”
Muddy Paws Rescue is an active partner in Best Friends Network which offers help and support to animal rescue groups and shelters that save lives in their communities.
“When you choose to adopt your next pet you are becoming part of the solution right here in our community,” said Lai.
The Rachael Ray Save Them All Grants is a grant program, administered by Best Friends and funded by The Rachael Ray Foundation™, that provides grants to shelters for euthanasia reduction initiatives. The Rachael Ray Foundation helps animals in need and is funded by a portion of proceeds from each sale of Rachael's pet food, Nutrish®.

About Best Friends Animal Society
Best Friends Animal Society is a leading national animal welfare organization dedicated to ending the killing of dogs and cats in America's shelters. In addition to running lifesaving programs in partnership with more than 3,100 animal welfare groups across the country, Best Friends has lifesaving centers in New York City, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Salt Lake City, and operates the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals. Founded in 1984, Best Friends is a pioneer in the no-kill movement and has helped reduce the number of animals killed in shelters nationwide from an estimated 17 million per year to around 625,000. That means there are still more than 1,700 dogs and cats killed every day in shelters, just because they don’t have safe places to call home. Determined to bring the country to no-kill by the year 2025, Best Friends and its nationwide network of members and partners are working to Save Them All®.
